⚡ Advertised Internet Speeds
All advertised Internet speeds are up to the stated maximum. Actual speeds may vary depending on network conditions, equipment, device capabilities and other factors.
For the best performance, we recommend a direct wired Ethernet connection to your router. Where additional Ethernet ports are needed, a compatible network switch can be used.
🦊 Month-to-Month Freedom
Wakey Internet plans are offered month-to-month, without a fixed-term service contract. You can request a speed change or cancellation, subject to applicable fees and conditions.
📦 Cable Internet — Security Deposit
A $60 refundable security deposit is held as security for loaned equipment valued at $200 or more.
If Cable Internet service is cancelled within 180 days of activation, the waived $49 activation fee plus applicable taxes is retroactively charged and deducted from the security deposit.
🚀 Pure Fibre — Security Deposit
A $120 refundable security deposit is held as security for loaned Fibre Internet equipment.
If Fibre Internet service is cancelled within 180 days of activation, the waived $110 activation fee plus applicable taxes is retroactively charged and deducted from the security deposit. Any amount exceeding the available deposit balance may remain payable.
💰 Deposit Refunds
Security deposits are refundable after the applicable 180-day minimum service period, provided all loaned equipment is returned in accordance with Wakey's return requirements and there are no outstanding charges. Applicable early-cancellation charges may be deducted from the deposit.
📡 Equipment & Wi-Fi Performance
Loaned modems, routers and other equipment remain the property of Wakey Internet. Equipment must be returned when service ends. Unreturned or damaged equipment may result in additional charges.
Wi-Fi speeds and coverage depend on your home's layout, connected devices, wireless interference and equipment capabilities.
